Peace is not the absence of conflict or trouble.  It is not the absence of enemies, not the absence of noise. It is not the absence of pain, of opposition, of trial, or of failure. It is not the absence of anything undesireable.

Peace is stability in the storm,
Peace is strength and resoluteness in opposition.
Peace is patience and faith in trial.
Peace is standing with no regret in the face of death.
Peace is being confident in God even when the things of the world fail you.
Peace is having God with you despite the storm.
Peace is knowing how you stand before God, and that you know how he feels about you…and you are comfortable in His presence…now.
